It has been almost 6 years Poppy and it still hurts whenever you are mentioned but I am taking one day at a time and I k ow you are in a better place now but we all love and miss you Poppy. I will fight everyday for you and I will try my best to succeed in life to one day meet you again in heaven and even though that won’t be for a very long time I hope you will wait till me and Nana come to see you cause I know I will wait till I see you again to give a kiss on the cheek and to hug you and be wrapped around those strong arms. I am sad that you had to go and that I don’t remember what it’s like to be held by you and loved by you but I know you are waiting for us all and you are with Titi Dawn and do me a favor give her a kiss for me and tell her I will one day meet her.

To the Rubio Family,I just learned of Roger's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Roger back in the 70's when his dad rented their house from us (Coleman) on Lura. He was also a classmate of mine from Riverdale. He was such a sweet guy. He came from good stock. His dad was a sweetheart. Memories or him and his family bring a smile to my face. My love, it's been over a month ago that you were admitted to the hospital following your fall…you flew through the surgeries with flying colors, you were showing positive proof that the brain was healing, but unfortunately, your heart was just too tired to go on…Each day has been a struggle for me honey, in even the slightest of ways….I miss your beautiful smile, your tender loving touch, your pranks and jokes, I miss everything about you …there are some who see you in their dreams, some who hear your voice…..I have you wrapped around my heart….I love and miss you more than life itself…

March 13, 2013 My Incredible amazing husband, Honey, I just don't know where to begin..My heart is completely shattered, each piece time stamped with a memory of what used to be. There are no words to describe the emptiness I feel inside. The depth of our love was like no other..not many people shared our kind of love..Each night that I close my eyes, I pray that this is all a bad dream, but reality returns the moment I open my eyes each morning. I long to nestle my head on your shoulders, reach out for you to hold me in those strong arms that made me feel so safe from harm..I long to give you you one more kiss, to tell you once more and to hear once more the words, "I love you more than you will ever know." Thank you for each day you have been in my life, for the 4 wonderful children and 8 Grandchildren we were blessed with, but most of all, for the wonderful memories we've made. To my Florida family words cannot take away the pain of losing Roger. I remember the first time Dave introduced me to all of you. I love you all dearly. As my brother in law Roger will be remembered and missed dearly he along with all of you welcomed me into the family and I got to see what a wonderful person Roger was. Dave always told stories about Roger and thought highly of him. Both Dave and Roger were taken way to soon. Cherish all the memories and it will help get you through the days that lie ahead. I will always remember what a kind and loving father and husband Roger was.When he coached Dawn and Shannon in softball we all became good friends and thought of all of you as family.I remember the fun cookouts at the beach and all the wonderful time our families had together.He and Eric came to my Mom's funeral service and it ment so much to have them there.I can't begin to tell you how much my heart hurts for all of you.We just have to find a way to go on knowing that we will be with our loved ones again and the circle wll be unbroken once more.May God comfort you and help you through this painful loss.With love to you all, Glenna
