When I was a teenager, Rona was like a second mother to me. Her love and generosity embraced the entire Cross Country team. She had the biggest heart and was always taking care of everyone—whether that meant providing snacks, emotional support, or simply showing up when someone needed her.
I will never forget our road trips, birthday parties, and the moments spent together. After living far from Florida for nearly my entire adult life, I was so grateful to have seen Rona a few times in recent years. She always lit up a room and was deeply empathetic, making you feel truly valued and understood.
Rona touched so many lives and made the world a better place. I aspire to live the way she did—she was an example to us all, the most caring, sweet, and loving person.
