Aunt Lois I'm so sorry to hear Uncle Bud has passed, Uncle Bud was a great man. I remember when you two lived by Duck Creek and Stacy, Scott and I thought we could cross the culvert to the other side but fell in, you had to find us clothes to put on until ours dried. Mom and I are thinking of you and sending prayers.
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. We both lost our mothers last year and sincerely know what you are going through. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.Jim and Vickie Carthey

Mrs. Hitchcock: I am not sure if you will remember me, but I was a student of yours when you taught grade school at East Linn Grove School in the 1950's. I am sorry to hear of your husband's death, but thankful that you were able to celebrate 66 years of life together. My parents, Marvin and Leona Steinhagen, had 63 years together! Bud was my great neighbor for a number of years. He and his wife Lois were inspirations to how me and my wife want to spend our time. They seemed to do everything together from bicycling to square dancing. I grew up with Bud's son Steve and his wife Nancy. He will be missed and remembered. My condolences to Lois and their family.Mark "Bud" Caven (Debbie)
Lois, Bob, Steve and Family,I am so sorry to hear of Bud's passing. Lois, you and Bud were great friends to Pat and Vern over the years and I have nothing but great memories of growing up around your family. When Vern died several years ago, Bud took the time to send me photos of their friendship in high school, in the National Guard and at Dahl's . I will always remember him as a really great guy.You are all in our thoughts and prayers.Larry Buddin
Bud was one of the most wonderful men I have ever known. I worked for Bud in the parts department at Dahl Ford and now I am in service. Ive known him for 36 years and every time he saw me he called me Daughter. I loved his sense of humor and his smile. I am so glad I made it down to see Bud & Lois 10/12 I will cherish that forever. I love you Lois and if you need anything let me know.
