Ruth H. McCumber, age 99, of?áFort Myers, passed away on September 23, 2012.?áShe was born on October 19, 1912 in Wapakoneta, Ohio to the late Ferdinand and Anna Dearbaugh. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ivan McCumber and her daughters, Carol Rogers and Ronda Wilson.?áShe is survived by her son Keath ?Ç£Kim?Ç¥ McCumber (Chris), her daughter, Carla Daniels (Bob), her step-daughter, Paula Mycoff, sixteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. During the war she was proud to work at the Tank Depot in Lima, Ohio.?áIn 1963, Mom and Dad moved to Florida and built what was then McCumber?ÇÖs Marina on Highway 31.?áAfter selling the Marina, she went into Real Estate and was semi-retired.?áShe also enjoyed dancing with her friends at the Senior Center and at various parks. The family wishes to thank Hope Hospice of Lehigh Acres and the Anthurium Assisted Living Facility. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 27th from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.?áFuneral will be at 1:00 PM with entombment to follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
