We thought of you and Lee this past week because of the Hurricane. We are sorry to learn you both passed. Thank you for being the great neighbors to us in Naperville. Sally, you were there for me and the kids with my hubby traveling so much, and the kids remember us all going to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at the drive in movie. Rest in peace, and thanks for all you both did for us.

Today is one year ago I heard the heartbreaking news that you had left us. I know you passed on the 14th because you never responded to my text I sent that night. I miss you so much. I miss our pep talks and laughs we shared. I still can’t wrap my brain around the fact that you are gone even a year later. You were supposed to come over for Christmas but you never made it. Today would have been your birthday. I’m sorry we didn’t get to spend your last birthday together because we had just moved my grandmother down and we were getting her settled in.
