My dear sweet Aunt Sarah was always ready for an adventure. She loved to travel and we were fortunate enough to take her all the way up the coast of California , Oregon and Washington on Hwy 101. We cruised through artichoke country in Castroville and then to wine country in Napa Valley and then to Reedsport Oregon for dungeons crab. After sampling delicious ice cream in Tillamook, Oregon we continued on to meet up with family in Seattle for a late night feast that we brought to them from all of our travels! Due to a family wedding in Seattle we will not be able to attend the funeral which deeply saddens our family. Take care dear Aunt Sarah and give Paula and Nana a hug for me.Love your niece Angie Gallman Nelson and family

Aunt Sarah!! What a wonderful, kind, patient, loving soul! And undoubtably one of the best cooks ever! She was always so sweet to the youth at Riverside and chased me out of the kitchen with a stern hand but a warm smile on more than one Wednesday night! She was a true example of what a Godly woman should be. I know our Savior welcomed her with open arms! My heart and prayers go ou to all who shared her bloodline, but to me she was a part of the "family" too!

Miss Sarah was just a wonderful lady and a shining example of God's love. I remember her kind and generous spirit all the way back to my young teen years; her ready smile; the tireless hours she spent cooking for her brothers and sisters in the church; the countless weddings she catered, setting up and decorating the fellowship hall so beautifully each time and making every single bride feel special.
