Shelly was my second mom. I was six years old when I met Shelly, she would pick Dawn and I up for lunch and take us to her house where she has pre made tuna fish for me... I would only eat it cold. I slept over hundreds of times and ate many delicious meals. I spent New Years Eve every year in the Catskills with Shelly and her family. Shelly and John cooked all the food for my engagement party. Shelly treated me like a daughter ALWAYS. I was privileged to be asked to help her one day after she had some skin surgery while Dawn and Mark and Vik were out of town. We laughed and made it through changing a bandage. After over 30 years of her taking care of me, I am grateful for the opportunity to have taken care of her. She was my parents best friend. She has been a part of my life in a big way for as long as I can remember. Shelly, I’ll see you on the other side. Thank you for all the love you gave me and my family. We all miss you tons!
