Shirley and I played cards together in a card club many years ago! She was so much fun to be with!! What I remember most about her was her big beautiful smile. Prayers and good thoughts going out to her family. RIP Shirley.

Shirley is my great Grammy! I have fond memories of spending time at her house and talking with her about her birds 💜 she was a kind, funny lady and will be missed.
Rest In Peace my dear Aunt Shirley. Tomorrow I will be sharing wonderful memories with my cousins of all the great vacations we took together with our parents. Especially Wamplers Lake and Gatlinburg! Then we age and life happens and we don’t get together as often but the memories are still there. I was so lucky to celebrate my aunt’s 90th birthday with her and the family. Boy, do her grandkids love her!! I will miss you and always remember.

We've known Shirley at least 20 years when Shirley's husband, Don was a Shriner and we attended many events together. She was quite a lady, so talented and sweet. She and Don were a darling couple and encouraged everyone to participate in parades, Ceremonials, parties, etc.
Shirley rarely missed Sessions for Daughters of the Nile and played an active part. She also rarely missed a social event - in later years, we had a special wheelchair just for Shirley to get around the Shrine building.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of my friend Shirley Sword. She was truly a sweet lady who never uttered an unkind word about anyone. She was proud of her sons and their spouses and was over joyed with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. I will miss her happy face and friendship. She is now at peace and reunited with her beloved husband Donald. Who by the way was also a great guy. I offer my sympathy to her family and pray that God will ease their grief.
