Steve and I were married for 3 years and we had an amazing son named after him. Although we went through our hard times, Steve always made me laugh. We made each other laugh. The Brumley family opened up their hearts and arms, when I came along. I will always remember the good memories and thank him for the great son we had. I'm sorry to hear of his passing, but he is now in peace, with his mom & dad. RIP you crazy guy!
My dearest Stephen. You are so loved. Now that you have your wings, there’s no limit to the heights you’ll sore. I will never forget you. Your kindness, your humor, your dedication, loyalty and loving heart. Be at peace my friend.

Today was a day I hope to NOT have to go through again anytime soon. I've known Steve since 1st grade, we were 6 yrs old. Steve, Mike, and Beth, and myself grew up together. We are family. Their family is my family, My family is their family. I not only lost my Best Friend, I lost a Brother. It saddens me more that he had to go through the suffering that he did. I'm sad that we lost him. But when I think of him, all I can do is Grin from ear to ear. We had a lifetime of craziness, mischief and shenanigans. Steve and I have kept in touch for 53 years. I have never met anybody from this family. I met Kyla thru being friends on Facebook. We have had many chats, and when I saw that her daddy was on hospice I immediately started to pray for her and her, and the family. I know that thru Christ, we will all meet in the heaven above. I hope to meet Kyla in person someday. She is an amazing and strong lady!Rest In Peace daddy!
My daddy was truly my best friend and my closest confidant. He was always supportive, caring, loving, and funny. His guidance and advice has shaped my life in unimaginable ways, and I will always treasure the memories. He was not only a great father and friend but he was a devoted grandfather and soon to be father in law, his loving and caring nature is legendary and lives on in the lives of his children and grandchildren. He truly lived a life for others and he leaves a great legacy of love and service.
