Stephen Allen Brumley, 59, of Fort Myers, died January 23, 2017 at Hope Hospice at Lehigh Acres. Private services will be held at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens. Memorials: Charity of Donor’s Choice. Stephen was born February 3, 1957 in Vincennes, IN, the son of Marlin Lee and Stella Mae (Browning) Brumley. Stephen was a maintenance supervisor at Shell Point. He was a member of McGregor Baptist Church. He loved music, fishing, shooting, and was a motorcycle enthusiast. He was quite an artistic person and enjoyed being in nature. He loved spending time with his family and will be fondly remembered for his sense of humor. Surviving are his father, Marlin Lee Brumley of Fort Myers, FL; children, Jason Brumley (Katherine) of WI, Stayce Brumley (Josh) of WI, Kyla Brumley of WI, Stephen Brumley Jr. (Emma) of TX; siblings, Mike Brumley (Kathy) of Fort Myers, FL, Elizabeth Tyrrell (Daniel) of Venice, FL; grandchildren, Kamryn, Austin, Tanor, Hannah, Lilli, Alayssia, Dominic, Alani, Sophia; nieces and nephews, Michelle Kimberly Brumley (Rich), James Brumley (Sarah) and their son, Henry, Cheryl Brumley-Yorke (Marcus), Kristen Barry (Kevin) and their son, Aiden, Ryan Tyrrell (Natalia). Preceding in death is his mother, Stella Mae. The Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Stephen.
