Stephen Francis Lloyd of Estero, Florida died on August 28, 2025 in the loving arms of his family after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Stephen was predeceased by his parents, Retired Colonel John Philip Lloyd of Wrexha Read Obituary
Steve has been part of our family for over thirty years. Like Steve and Giselle, we moved our families around the world. We were lucky to be in the same country three times spanning a period of fifteen years but when we weren’t together, we always found time to meet somehow. When we did meet, it was like nothing had changed. Two guys from Louisiana who grew up working for Schlumberger!
We spent lots of nights around a camp fire or on our jointly owned boat in Qatar together. We had good times. When we worked together, I could always count on Steve to get the job done (and help lower my blood pressure!) Valerie, Giverny, Celine and I will miss Steve.
Giselle, Danielle, John and Chris please know that you are in our prayers and thoughts. Know also that we are here to help in any way we can.

First of all, my sincere condolences for Steve’s passing away to Giselle and his three children.
Fond memories ? Plenty.,..just a few….we worked together for 3 years in Schlumberger in Pakistan…..playing golf every weekend (Steve played golf I just did some serious landscaping)….watching F1 every Sunday when it was on after work and enjoying a good drink doing that…having great parties in his house …..Steve was a great colleague in all aspects.
Where ever he is now, I hope there is good food, drinks and a beautiful golf course.

Giselle - Monica and I are so sorry for your loss. Our prayers are with you and your family. Steve and yourself went out of your way to make our family feel welcome when we relocated to Abu Dhabi in 2012. Same, when Steve returned to Houston to run the function. I enjoyed working for him. Also enjoyed playing golf with him. Again, prayers for you and family. Jim and Monica and the kids.
