I am thankful for knowing you and having you as a friend. You made broken looks beautiful and strong look invincible. You walked with the universe on your shoulders and made it look like a pair of wings. I miss you so much.
We first met Steve at a Hope Hospice Bereavement Support Group meeting in June 2019 shortly after his wife passed. At any given time there could be up to 20 people at any of our weekly group meetings.
We shared our thoughts and feelings and laughter and our tears for that Special One that we had recently lost.
After one of these weekly meetings, someone suggested we meet some day for lunch. We met every week after that from June 2019 thru March 2020 - and then Covid came.
Finally, we were again able to meet weekly for lunch starting in April 2021. Our group will now be one short without Steve. We hope to be able to find comfort in each other without our "Big Guy".
We offer our deepest condolences to those that Steve loved so much.
Those we love don't go away. They walk beside us every day... unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear.
