Stephen Adam Rutkowski's Obituary
Stephen Adam Rutkowski of Cape Coral, Florida passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Saturday, September 25, 2021 following some recent unexpected health challenges. He was 79 years old.
Stephen was born May 3, 1942 in New Jersey, the proud son to Stephanie (Maglowski) and Adam Rutkowski. He was the devoted husband to Phyllis D. Rutkowski who sadly preceded him in death in 2019.
A Funeral Service for Stephen will be celebrated by Deacon Jim Tesoriero at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 1, 2021 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Guests will be received for Visitation for one hour preceding this ceremony beginning at 12:00 Noon also inside the funeral home chapel. Following conclusion of these services, friends and family will recess to adjacent Memorial Gardens Cemetery where Military Honors for Stephen will be provided by the United States Marine Corps, following which Stephen will be laid to rest alongside his dearly departed wife Phyllis inside the mausoleum located at the Garden of Serenity.
