Steven A. Langdale Jr.'s Obituary
Steven A Langdale Jr., 52. of Cape Coral, FL passed away peacefully and with loved ones on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Joanne’s House at Hope Hospice in Bonita Springs, FL. His will to fight against cancer for the last 2 1/2 years never wavered but unfortunately the battle took its toll and God called upon him. Steven was born in Media, PA; the son of Steven A Langdale and the late Carol Ann Langdale (West). He leaves behind his loving wife Heather and 3 children; Amanda Langdale, Alyssa Langdale, and Steven Langdale III and step son Bill Chouinard IV. He also leaves behind his father Steven A. Langdale Sr. and his wife Mila Langdale; his sister, Denise (Langdale) Markovits, her husband David Markovits, and 2 nephews James and Jonah Markovits; his brother David Langdale, his wife Ann Langdale and 2 nieces Julia and Madison Langdale.Steve was charismatic, sarcastic, funny and smart but most of all when he loved someone he did so with everything he had. He was always thinking of others and how he could put them first. He loved sports and was very athletic however his greatest passion was being an umpire for little league baseball but mostly girls softball for the past 8+ years. When he couldn’t umpire any longer he would visit “his girls” when a tournament was in town.He leaves behind so many loving and supporting family members and friends and he will be so missed. He was an Eagles fan through and through so we’ll say so long for now Steven A Langdale… Fly Eagles fly! Per his wishes, there will be a private family celebration.
