Susan was a member of the local Mensa organization which is where I met her. She was always very quiet, but when she talked – you listened. Although she hadn't been active in the group for a number of years, her presence was always there. I'll miss you Susan.
I am so sorry about Susan. She was an exemplary educator. I knew Susan for many years. She no only did so much for so many children she helped guide many of our new educators through her participation as a trainer in the APPLES Program. She will be missed by many. Ed, You and your families are in our hearts and prayers. What lovely neighbors you and Susan were to us for so many years. We will always remember the Christmas holidays, the cocktails, the jokes, the laughter and the cookie exchanges. I will remember her tears when we buried my beloved horse on your hillside. Susans' love of life will live on in all of those lives she touched. Live your life as you know she would want you to.
Dear Eddie, Much Sympathy to you. She sounds like such a wonderful woman. You have great memories I am sure. Hard at first, but later they help. I saw you again at the TRHS last reunion. Talked to you about music. We were in Jr. High orchestra together and good jr. & hi school friends. Glad you still play. I am in an orchestra here–violin all my life. Hobby, not professional. I lost my husband John to pancreatic cancer in 1997, and my second husband came to the reunion last time. You are part of my memories, & best wishes always. Joanne Jones Goodkin

Ed: I'm so sorry that you have lost your partner, best friend of many years. How fortunate that you found each other and enjoyed all God's blessings together.
