Mrs. Scott, it was a great honor to work with Tom in serving the Lee County School District. The professionalism he demonstrated in performing his duties as a school board member was an example to all. He expected the best from himself and brought out the best in others. I was very saddened by the news of Tom passing. He was a very special person in my life. There wasn't a week or month that went by when Tom didn't pick up the phone and ask me how I was doing. i thought Mr. Scott was an excellant board member – I had students do art work for his office for two years and he honored the artists with thank you notes which they thought was wonderful. I appreaciated his calm focused approach to board issues. He will be missed.Dyann Miller – teacher
I was terribly sad to hear that Mr. Scott had left us. I will remember him for his voice of reason, his sincerity, and his invocation at the beginning of the school board meetings. I recognized him as a Christian immediately. May his family be comforted to know he is at peace with His Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
