Vernon Osbourne Angel's Obituary
Vernon Osbourne Angel, 80, passed away suddenly Monday, October 25, 2021 in Fort Myers, FL. He was born April 14, 1941 in Kingston, Jamaica to the late Egbert Clarence and Iris Angel.
Vernon migrated to England in the 60’s and then to New Jersey in 1990. In 1993, Vernon started staying parttime in New York and in Florida. He permanently moved to Lehigh Acres, FL in 2002. Vernon was an active member of New Life Assembly, Lehigh Acres since 1993.
He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Amba Angel of Lehigh Acres, FL; six children, Howard Stewart (Norma) of New Jersey, Donovan Angel of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Angela Garnham of England, Vernon Angel Jr. (Frances) of England, Darren Angel (Fiancé, Elise) of England and Joanne Angel (Johnny) of Lehigh Acres, FL; two step-children, Vanessa Usual of Maryland and Robin Graham of Maryland; one sister, Pamela Scudder (Ron) of Lehigh Acres, FL; 15 grandchildren, Natasha, Kevan, Sheldon, Leeton, Tamara, Christina, Dayna-Marie, Luke, Aaron, Bradley, Suraiya, Sasha, Jordan, Keyanna and Krystyna; 23 great grandchildren; as well as many extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon, Friday, November 12, 2021 at New Life Assembly, 5146 Leonard Blvd. S, Lehigh Acres, FL 33973. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 12 Noon following the visitation with Pastor Bernie McGraw as the officiant. Entombment will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fort Myers, FL.
