I can't believe I just found Virgil, after all these years from our boyhood in Franklin, Ohio. Don't know if your wife & family will even get to see this. I'll start by introducing myself. My Name is Bobby Zimmerman as I was known in those days. I remember Virgil had older sisters, Ruth & Ernistine & an older brother named Robert. I recall Virgil would call him "Ra" for short. I have for all these years cherished Virgil & mine "closer than a brother's friendship". He & I at the ripe ol'age of 9-10 became real blood brothers – just like the real indians did!!!!! We built forts in the nearby trees down by the Miami River and fought many Indian wars. I was not surprised of the tribute to Virgil from his family. Virgil was a loving and caring man and will be dearly missed. I can't tell you how much joy he brought to my life. His jokes, his smile, his musical talent, and his compassion. My grandfather was someone dependable and reliable someone you could look up to and be proud of. An amazing man that this world will forever fall short because of his absence. Papaw, I love you and miss you already.

Aunt Julia, I am so sorry that you lost uncle Virgil he was a special man. I loved hearing him sing and play his guitar. He had this soothing voice when he sang. I am going to miss him very much. He is in heaven now singing with mamaw barb. They are not suffering anymore and they are happy. I love you very much Aunt Julia.

I just wanted to let you know uncle Virgil how much I loved you and even though we didn't get to see each other very often I will miss you so much. My mommy loved you so much she used to talk about you all the time about how she loved taking care of you when you were little. She always talked about how cute you were with your curly hair. Now you and her can be with each other again in Heaven. Give her a big kiss and a hug for me. I love you so much.

Aunt Julia,Virgil jr,Coni,Johnathon,Brian, and the rest of my family. I am so sorry for yhe loss of unclee Virgil. He was a great man that we all loved dearly. We all know what you are going through right now with just losing mom a little over a month ago. But the good thing about it is that they are not in pain anymore. The other e-mail was for uncle Virgil I couldn't be there with him so that was my way of saying bye to him. So I wanted to send this one to tell you all that our love and prayers are with you all at this time of sorrow. Aunt Julia I love you very much.
