Virgil Leroy Garrison, Sr., 66, passed away April 24, 2012.?áHe was born February 2, 1946 in Franklin, Ohio to the late Ernest and Mamie (Lamb) Garrison. He retired as an owner of a auto body shop. ?á Virgil came to Lee County in 1972 from Franklin, Ohio and loved to play the guitar, banjo and piano.?á Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 49 years, Julia; children, Virgil Jr. (Rhonda) Garrison of North Fort Myers, Coni (Morris) Workman of Nevada, Jonathon (Carolyn) Garrison of Tennessee and Brian Garrison, Sr. of Florida; sisters, Geneva Pearson, Ruth Stidham both of Ohio and Ernestine Bush of Kentucky; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. There will be a memorial service on Saturday at 11:00 am at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Condolences may be left online at www.fortmyersmemorial.com.
