It is June 21, 2023, three years since Bill’s passing. I still pray for his Eternal Rest.

Bill and I met out first year at Verot. Little did I know then that I had made a lifelong friend. His kindness and sincerity were clear in everything he did. I’m so sorry for your loss. My only consolation is knowing heaven gained a new angel.

I am so sorry about Bill and your loss. He was so very special and was truly liked and respected by everyone. Loving a person makes it so sad and difficult when they die. I am a member of Bill's Rotary Club, but more importantly, I worked with Bill for my last thee years as a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley in Fort Myers. In fact, our offices were next to each other, and so we had many great conversations, almost everyday. I am originally from Chicago, and one day, we even figured out we were related through marriage and his Uncle John O'Neal. He was a good guy and a fine man. He was taken way too soon from all of us. You have my deepest sympathies.

Bill loved his family and his community. When I met Bill 20 years ago at Rotary one could see the caring in his eyes that emanated from his heart. When Bill and Steve Hawks committed to putting a dictionary in every Lee County 3rd graders hands, they dove in and made it happen.
