Billy was a man full of laughter and surprises. He always had something unexpected to say or do, and his humor could light up even the heaviest of days.
I want to take a moment and thank him for his service in the United States Marine Corps. Being a Marine was a source of great pride for Billy, and it reflected in the strength and discipline he carried with him throughout his life.
Even through his long-standing illness, Billy never lost his ability to joke, to laugh, and to remind us all of the joy in everyday moments. He especially loved playing cards, and we had a special saying whenever we played together - "Kola Trippa." That simple phrase will always bring a smile to my face. And if there was one thing he loved just as much as cards, it was sitting down to enjoy Greek sausages loukaniko (lots of them)!!
May Billy's laughter, his spirit, and his memory live on in all who were blessed to know him.
