William C. Farnsworth's Obituary
William C. Farnsworth, Sr., 86, passed away October 16, 2013. He was born May 4, 1927 in Buffalo, New York to the late George and Virginia (Teeple) Farnsworth. Bill was a second generation elevator construction, maintenance and inspector for Local 14 in Buffalo, New York. He retired after 41 years of service. When he was not working, he loved working on his farm, hunting, fishing and shuffleboard. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 65 years, Bernice; children, Kathleen M. Farnsworth of Fort Myers, Florida; William C. Farnsworth, Jr. of Byron, New York; Charlene M. Nawrocki and her husband Daniel of Lancaster, New York and Darlene M. Manhardt and her husband Daniel of Corfu, New York; sisters, Marjorie Zoeller of Leroy, New York and Jeannette French and her husband John of Lancaster, New York; grandchildren, Dawn, Tina, Pamela, Benjamin, Nathaniel, Julia, Caitlin, Kara and Daniel; and 10 great-grandchildren.
