Linda Desjardins
Although we didn't know Bill very long, he was quite the gentleman. I, myself met him three and a half years ago. I found him to be enchanting. He loved being on the stage at the Heritage. I heard he has done a lot of shows in years back here. I also heard he was fantastic in any show he was in. I met him in a clip we did in The Music Man. Then he played in a skit as Hugh Hefner and the most memorial in my mind is two years ago he and friend Bertha did a duet together. Bertha lip singing to Celine Dion and Bill lip syncing to Kenny Rogers. It was so beautiful to see these two ninety something with such showmanship. It was magnificent. I couldn't help thinking about all the 90 years old in nursing homes just existing and looked at Bill and Bertha. Tears filled my eyes. They received a standing ovation that I have never seen at the Heritage. My tears were bigger. I will always remember this wonderful, full of life gentle man. Bill, you did good. Your show will go on. Proud to know you, Linda and Gene Desjardins😍
