Winifred D. Messersmith's Obituary
Winifred D. Messersmith, 99, of Fort Myers, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016. She was born January 16, 1917 in Buffalo, NY to Harry and Erdene Messersmith. She moved to Florida from Calrence, NY in 1967. Mrs. Messersmith retired as a Registered Nurse. She was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church of Cape Coral, Order of Eastern Star, Loyalty Chapter #309 of Cape Coral, Cape Coral Retired Citizens, E.J. Meyer Hospital Alumni, Florida Nurses Association and Lee County Humane Society. Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907, 239-936-0555. She will be laid to rest in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery with her late husband, Robert E. Messersmith, who preceded her in death in 1992.
